Welcome to Middle School English and Electives!

I am thrilled to be joining the Moscow Charter School team! I teach English/Language Arts for all middle school students as well as several elective classes (Creative Writing, Spanish, Life Skills, and Study Skills).

 

I have a B.S. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Idaho. I am certified to teach all subjects K-8 and Spanish K-12. As part of my studies, I spent a semester learning language in Quito, Ecuador. I spent several years teaching 9th grade English and Spanish at a public alternative academy in Washington and more recently have taught Spanish to all ages here in Moscow. 

 

I grew up with the constant rain of southwest Washington so I love the occasional wet days in Moscow, but also thoroughly enjoy the great year-round weather here for biking, hiking, kayaking, or cross-country skiing.
