Paraprofessional/Lunch Server - 29.25 hrs per week

We are looking for a paraprofessional for our Special Education department who will also serve lunch. 29.75 hours per week. Monday thru Thursday 8:30am-3:00pm and Friday 8:30am-2:15pm, when school is in session.

Position is eligible for 75% employer paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Wellness, Telehealth, EAP, Life, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability. Other voluntary insurance options are available, paid holidays, sick and vacation time, PERSI retirement and 401K.

Educational requirements:
Applicant must have a HS diploma or GED and:
1. Demonstrate through a state approved academic assessment knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing or preparing students to be instructed as applicable to the academic areas they are providing support in; or
2. Have completed at least two years of study at an accredited postsecondary educational institution; or
3. Obtained an associate degree or higher level degree.

Additional Requirements:
Excellent communication skills in English.
Background in Special Education preferred.
Successful classroom experience in an early childhood or elementary setting preferred.
A willingness to go above and beyond to ensure the success of Moscow Charter School students.
The ability to pass a criminal background check by clearing them to work in a school setting.
